Based in Auroville, an International Township in Tamil Nadu, South India, Arthena Interior Decor Studio was founded by the combined energies of Ane Ugarte, Spanish and Diana Zanzi, Italian. The passion for interiors we both shared brought us to a turning point in our professional life and in 2006 we launched our own Studio, to explore the various and fascinating possibilities in the field.
Combining this passion with an old love for ladies bags and small accessories, we continue to enjoy producing our own collections. In addition to our dynamic team, in 2014, a new member, Agathe Fourquez, French, joined Arthena Studio as a freelance decorator.
Each of us with our own select skill set and perspective, enjoying and learning how to meld our personalities, contributes to a diversity which promotes a creative studio. The European influence comes through in simple, functional and natural solutions and is complemented by years of experience in the field to encompass an elegant and modern approach.
Arthena services are divided into two different specialized departments:
- Interior Decor Studio for custom made private and commercial projects
- Tailoring section to produce soft home furnishing as well as manufacturing our own line of handbags.
